01 / THE BASICS

Getting started

How the site fits together before your first fight.

What is Lightning Quest?

Lightning Quest is a free-to-play browser RPG with a rewards platform alongside it. You create a knight, use energy to fight through Campaign and against the Daily Boss, collect gear and pets, join a guild, and build a Stronghold. Separate earning activities can add coins, XP and resources to that progression.

Coins are an in-site balance; they are not cryptocurrency in your wallet. Eligible withdrawals are requested through the Wallet and are subject to the displayed minimums, supported methods and review.

Create accountOpen dashboard

Your first steps

  1. Create an account and open the Dashboard. Its four mode cards take you to Campaign, Daily Boss, Guild Event and Stronghold without opening a different mode first.
  2. Play Campaign to clear stages and earn gear. Equip useful items in My Knight & Inventory.
  3. Use remaining shared energy on the Daily Boss after meeting its daily unlock requirement.
  4. Check Quests, Battle Pass and Daily for claimable progress.
  5. Join a Guild when you are ready for group events.

Your dashboard and each mode show the current live values; the wiki explains what they mean.

Coins, XP, energy and other resources

Coins
Your site balance, used for eligible purchases and, once requirements are met, withdrawal requests.
XP & levels
Account progression earned from game and site activity. Level rewards can be reviewed from your account panel.
Combat energy
One shared pool for Campaign and Daily Boss attacks. It regenerates only while below your current regeneration cap; awarded energy may take you above that cap.
Guild event energy
A separate resource used by the active guild event. It is not the same as Campaign/Daily Boss energy.
Chest progress
Progress toward Campaign Chests; every 1,000 progress makes one chest ready to open.
Scrap, gemstones & Pet Treats
Upgrade materials for gear, gem sockets and pets. Each has its own inventory and use.
02 / BUILD YOUR KNIGHT

Combat & progression

From your next stage to your strongest loadout.

Campaign and the world map

Campaign is a sequence of areas and stages. Attack the current enemy to reduce its health, clear the stage, and move forward; the world map shows your location and upcoming areas. Later enemies are stronger, so your gear, pets and upgrades matter more as you progress. Some fights and rewards can be repeated after you reach them.

Campaign attacks spend the same combat energy used by Daily Boss. The single-attack, five-energy and custom-energy controls let you choose how much to spend; a custom attack uses the amount entered, subject to the current server limit and available energy. Batch attacks still advance eligible quests, missions and achievements according to the actual attacks recorded.

Enter CampaignCampaign strategy guide

Campaign Chests and repeatable missions

Stage clears, eligible activities, missions and some boss milestones can add Campaign Chest progress. When at least 1,000 progress is ready, open a chest from Campaign to receive its displayed reward. Rewards can include gear, materials and other progression items; the actual result is shown when the chest opens.

Campaign's repeatable missions refresh to their next cycle after you claim a completed one. A newly started cycle should show its new progress, not the previous completed target. Check the mission's current text for the exact action and reward.

What every knight stat does

Your combined stats can come from account level, permanent upgrades, equipped gear and set bonuses, socketed gems in equipped gear, your active pet, boosts and eligible guild bonuses. The Knight & Inventory page shows your current build.

Combat and progression stats
StatExact purpose
Universal Damage / AttackAdds to your base attack in combat modes. Account levels add 2 base attack per level after level 1; Attack Training and eligible gear also add attack. Mode bonuses and other effects are applied separately.
Campaign DamageExtra damage against Campaign enemies. It does not become Daily Boss or guild-event damage.
Daily Boss Damage / Boss DamageExtra damage when attacking the Daily Boss. Gemstones use the shorter “Boss Damage” label for the same stat.
Guild Event DamageExtra attack power in Guild Boss and Guild Raid fights, and in Guild War duel combat snapshots. Older gear described as “Raid Damage” is treated as Guild Event Damage.
Seasonal DamageOnly contributes when its applicable season is active; it is not permanent universal damage. Some former seasonal sets, including Neon Veil, were converted to permanent Universal Damage—read that item's current stat label.
Crit ChanceThe chance for an attack to be a critical hit. A displayed +1% means one percentage point, not 1% more damage. Combat modes can have their own chance cap and critical-hit formula.
Crit DamageWhere an effect supplies it, changes the multiplier on a successful critical hit. It does not raise ordinary-hit damage; the final critical calculation depends on the mode.
Regen Cap / Max EnergyThe threshold up to which shared Campaign/Daily Boss energy regenerates naturally. It is not a hard storage limit: awarded energy can take you above the cap, but natural regeneration pauses until you are below it.
Loot LuckImproves eligible loot rolls, notably Campaign Chest weighting toward better outcomes. It is not a guaranteed rare drop or a flat increase to every reward probability.
Stronghold PowerUsed to determine your share of the Stronghold hourly coin pool. It is not an attack stat and the pool itself can change.

Damage can still vary by enemy, event rules, critical hits, active boosts and pet abilities. A +20 mode stat does not promise exactly 20 more final damage on every hit.

Permanent knight upgrades and temporary boosts

Buy permanent upgrades in My Knight & Inventory. Each next level has its own coin price, shown before purchase.

Permanent upgrades
UpgradePer levelMaximum level
Attack Training+2 universal attack50
Energy Core+1 natural-energy regeneration cap10
Critical Wiring+1 percentage point Crit Chance25
Loot Magnet+2 percentage points Loot Luck30

Temporary boosts are different: they have limited uses rather than permanent levels. Their current price, remaining charges and exact effect appear in the Shop or Knight page.

Gear, rarity and inventory

Gear has a slot, rarity, individual stats, a current level and a maximum level. Your loadout has a weapon, helmet, chestgear, gloves, leg gear, boots and up to two charms. Compare the actual rolled stats and level, not rarity alone. Only equipped gear contributes combat stats; gems on unequipped gear do not contribute either.

Matching sets grant their listed set bonus after five eligible pieces are equipped. The item card and Knight page show the relevant set and bonus; different sets boost different stats. Exclusive event or Battle Pass gear stays restricted to its stated source.

Open Knight & Inventory

Upgrading, salvaging and reforging gear

Upgrade
Raises one owned item's level by one, up to that item's maximum. Each step costs both coins and Scrap; the amounts rise with rarity and level and are shown on the upgrade control. Upgrading improves the item's current stats toward its listed maximum.
Salvage
Permanently removes the selected item and grants Scrap. Base returns are Common 5, Uncommon 10, Rare 20, Epic 45, Legendary 100 and Mythical 250, plus half of the Scrap previously spent upgrading that item, rounded down. The displayed return is the amount to check before confirming. Unequip items before bulk salvage.
Reforge
Consumes exactly three different owned items of the same rarity plus 10 coins to create one new item of that rarity. The new roll is not a guaranteed upgrade; the input items are destroyed. Exclusive event and Battle Pass gear cannot be produced by a reforge.

If you need Scrap, the Knight page offers coin-to-Scrap conversion packs: 250 coins for 10 Scrap, 1,000 for 45, or 5,000 for 250. Check the live purchase confirmation before spending.

Gemstones: bonuses, sockets and forging

Use the gemstone panel in My Knight & Inventory. A gem may be placed in an open socket on any owned gear for no coin charge, but its bonus only counts while that gear is equipped. One gem can occupy only one socket at a time. You must remove it before moving it; removal returns the gem to inventory and costs coins based on the gem's rarity.

Gem effects, gear socket limits and removal costs
RarityDamage gem*Crit gemSockets on gearRemove gem
Common+5+1%1100 coins
Uncommon+10+2%1300 coins
Rare+20+3.5%21,000 coins
Epic+35+5%23,500 coins
Legendary+60+7%310,000 coins
Mythical+100+10%430,000 coins

*A damage gem boosts only its named mode: Campaign Damage, Guild Event Damage or Boss Damage. The socket-limit column is based on the gear's rarity; removal cost is based on the gem's rarity.

How to forge a higher-rarity gem

  1. Collect four unsocketed gems with the same stat type and rarity. A Campaign Damage gem cannot be mixed with a Boss Damage gem.
  2. Open the Arcane fusion card in your gemstone panel and review its coin cost and success chance.
  3. Confirm the attempt. The four gems and coins are consumed whether it succeeds or fails. Success gives one gem of the same stat type at the next rarity; failure gives no replacement gem.
Fusion cost and chance per attempt
Four input gemsPossible resultCoin costSuccess chance
CommonUncommon5090%
UncommonRare15075%
RareEpic50060%
EpicLegendary1,50045%
LegendaryMythical5,00030%

Mythical is the highest gem rarity and cannot be fused further. Gems can come from eligible rewards and the Pet & Gemstone Cache; check each live reward description for its current contents.

Pets, Pet Treats and abilities

You can own multiple pets but equip only one active companion. The equipped pet contributes its normal stat and its unique ability; an unequipped pet does not. Each pet card on the Pets page shows its exact stat, current ability effect and maximum-level effect—abilities are not interchangeable between species.

One Pet Treat adds 25 pet XP. Treats are consumed when fed; the XP needed for the next level grows as the pet levels. Rarity sets the level cap: Common 20, Uncommon 30, Rare 40, Epic 50, Legendary 60 and Mythical 70. Pet stats and many ability values scale with pet level, so check the card after feeding.

Pets can come from Guild War event caches, the Pet & Gemstone Cache in the Shop, the CXL Shop, and explicitly listed event or Battle Pass rewards. Some seasonal pets are exclusive to their stated source and are not part of general caches.

Daily Boss

The Daily Boss is a shared fight for the whole site. Its page shows Boss Health, your energy, damage, attacks, milestones and the current crypto rewards pool expressed in site coins. Earn the required amount of coins shown on that page today to unlock boss attacks; the current requirement is 25 coins. Boss attacks consume the same energy as Campaign.

The pool can grow from eligible activity and game spending. Payout share is calculated using both your share of total damage and your share of total attacks, weighted equally. The on-page estimate can change as other players fight or the pool changes; it is not a guaranteed final payout. Claim available damage milestones separately, and check the leaderboard for placement rewards and current reset timing.

Fight the Daily BossBoss guide

Stronghold power and coin earnings

While your Stronghold is active, its projected hourly rate is hourly pool × your power ÷ total active-player power. This is a changing estimate, not a fixed personal salary: the pool and other active players' power can change. The displayed rate should only be trusted when the page has a current power snapshot.

Your power is the sum of building power, one power per 25 gear-score points (rounded down), and any active Premium power bonus. Castle Keep levels automatically from Campaign areas cleared; the other seven buildings are bought and upgraded with coins. All eight buildings can reach level 20. Their names describe the building theme—upgrading them raises Stronghold power; it does not separately increase your Campaign damage, gem odds or wallet balance.

The eight Stronghold buildings
BuildingHow it levels
Castle KeepAutomatically as you clear Campaign areas; cannot be purchased directly.
Arcane ForgeCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.
Market HallCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.
Training YardCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.
WatchtowerCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.
Crystal MineCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.
Rune LibraryCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.
Sky StablesCoin upgrades; adds Stronghold power.

Clearing a Campaign stage activates earnings for 24 hours. If the window expires, your buildings and already pending coins remain, but new passive earnings pause until another stage clear. Claim pending earnings on the Stronghold page; claims have a one-hour cooldown. The pending amount is earned balance, while “hourly earnings” is only a projection.

Guilds & events

Build a roster, coordinate battles and claim group rewards.

Creating or joining a guild

Guilds let players share chat, tasks, upgrades and event participation. A guild starts with five member slots and gains one slot per guild level, up to 20 members. Leaders and officers manage the guild according to their permissions. Guild donations go to the guild bank for guild functions; they are not a personal wallet deposit and cannot be withdrawn as coins.

If you link both your LQ account and Discord through CXL Games, your guild can use its Discord text and voice channels where available. The guild page shows the relevant linking prompt only until both connections are in place.

Open Guild

Guild Boss

Guild Boss is the weekly shared-boss event. Members attack together with the event's own energy and work toward personal and guild progress. Damage milestones and placement may award rewards according to the current event rules. Check the live Guild Event page for the active boss, health, your participation and claimable rewards.

Guild War

On a Guild War weekend, guilds declare and are matched against another guild. Members use Guild War energy for duels, contribute points and move their guild up the standings. The battle screen shows live scores and the current opponent. War results and caches are based on the event's current rules and placement; qualification requirements are shown in the reward phase. A guildmate's declaration applies to the whole guild, so refresh or wait for the live state if another member just declared.

War rewards are claimed during the reward phase. If you fought but the claim page says you did not qualify, note your username, event and approximate attack time and contact support; do not assume the display means your attacks were lost.

Guild Raid

Guild Raid is a cooperative event on alternating weekends with Guild War. Members scout raid targets, attack with raid energy, fill damage milestones and compete on player and guild leaderboards. Scouting opens the next target for your guild; when a boss falls, the group can push onward. Player placement, guild placement caches and participation rewards are separate reward paths. The event page lists the active thresholds and cache contents.

Raid strategy guide

Event timing and reward phases

Guild Boss runs weekly, while Guild War and Guild Raid rotate on different weekends. An event can have a battle phase, a result/reward phase and a short transition before the next event takes over. The Schedule page is the authoritative place to see start and end times in your selected timezone. The Guild Event page shows the event currently available to your account, not a permanent one-mode page.

Claim rewards while their claim window is open. Check both individual and guild placement information, since one reward does not necessarily claim the other automatically.

04 / KEEP PROGRESSING

Rewards & earning

Understand each reward path and when to claim.

Battle Pass

Each season has 50 tiers with Free and Premium tracks. Earn Battle Pass XP through eligible daily and weekly missions, then claim unlocked tier rewards. Premium adds its own reward track and missions while active. Seasonal cosmetics, gear and pets may be exclusive to their listed track; never assume they will appear in ordinary chests or caches.

Season dates, missions, reward contents and post-tier-50 repeat rewards can change. Use the Battle Pass page for the current season's exact list before spending or planning a claim.

Quests and achievements

Quests give short daily and weekly objectives tied to eligible actions. They reset on their displayed schedule, so collect completed rewards before the reset. Achievements are longer-term milestones; their page shows your tracked progress, completed tiers and claimable XP. Repeatable missions are a separate system on Campaign and guild event pages.

Actions completed in a batch should count according to their real recorded quantity. If a counter looks wrong, allow the page to refresh once and compare the current target, since a claimed repeatable mission immediately starts the next cycle.

Leaderboards and placement

Leaderboards compare players or guilds on the metric named by each board: for example, daily coins, XP, boss attacks or guild event points. Different boards have different reset periods and reward rules. Daily and all-time boards can refresh on a cache schedule rather than after every action; the underlying eligible activity is what counts. Always read the specific board's reward label and cutoff time.

View leaderboards

Minigames

The Minigames hub includes Reflex Dungeon, Core Match, Memory Grid and Asteroid Invaders. Each has its own controls, attempt rules and rewards shown on its page. In Reflex Dungeon, react to beneficial sparks, avoid harmful rifts and build a combo during the timed round. Your available plays and any extra plays are shown live; Premium currently adds one daily Reflex Dungeon play.

Start a round only when you can finish it. If a game reports an attempt already played, check its reset timer and activity history before retrying repeatedly.

Faucet and Daily Bonus

The Faucet gives a claim opportunity after its cooldown; the current base cooldown is five minutes. Complete any required challenge or ad step, then wait for the result before trying again. The Daily Bonus is a separate claim with its own reset timer. Both may award game progression in addition to coins when indicated. A challenge failing or a provider page opening does not by itself mean a reward was credited; confirm the result in your balance or Earnings History.

Shortlinks, offerwalls and PTC

Shortlinks require you to complete the full provider flow and return through its valid callback. Each shortlink has its own reward, cooldown and daily limit, all shown on its card. Offerwalls contain third-party tasks and surveys; eligibility, disqualification and credit timing depend on the offer provider's terms. PTC rewards eligible paid-to-click views after the required viewing and verification steps.

Do not skip provider steps, open multiple conflicting sessions, use bots or repeatedly click a pending claim. If a completion does not credit, save the provider, task name and time and use the relevant provider support route or LQ support.

Referrals

Your Referrals page provides a personal invite link and shows eligible referral activity. Referral commissions accumulate in a pending balance rather than being added to your spendable coins for every individual event. You may claim an available balance from the page, and the system also auto-claims on its displayed 24-hour cycle. Claiming transfers only the pending amount once; it should not create a repeatable payment.

Use the live page for the current commission rate, qualifying actions, claim status and totals. Self-referrals, fake accounts and manipulated traffic are not eligible.

Link Miner

Link Miner is an optional traffic and promotional tool, separate from combat. Its page explains how links, views, credits, eligibility and any review periods work. A submitted or opened view is not necessarily a valid, settled reward; follow its quality rules and check its status panel.

Shop, Premium and CXL linking

The Shop lists the current coin-priced items, caches and boosts. Read each item's exact effect, duration and odds information before buying; a cache offers a chance at items, not a guarantee of a particular drop. Some cosmetics and seasonal rewards come from CXL Games or specific events rather than general shop caches.

Premium is optional. Current LQ benefits include stronger Stronghold power, an XP boost, one extra daily Reflex Dungeon play, a higher shared combat-energy cap, a Premium Battle Pass track and eligible claim conveniences. Benefits apply only while the entitlement is active. Link the relevant CXL account to use supported cross-site benefits; the Premium page shows the live entitlement and exact current benefits.

Wallet, withdrawals and payouts

The Wallet shows your spendable coins, available payout methods, the current minimum and any applicable fees. Methods can include BTC Lightning, supported direct wallets, FaucetPay, PayPal and CXL Wallet, depending on availability. Choose the correct method and address/account carefully. A withdrawal request is reviewed before it is sent; submitting one is not proof that a provider has paid it.

Amounts, methods, minimums and exchange estimates can change. Use the values displayed at submission rather than a number in an old guide. Your Earnings History helps you distinguish credited activity, pending activity and withdrawal status. If a request is rejected or delayed, check its specific status and contact support with the request time—do not submit duplicates to work around a pending review.

05 / YOUR ACCOUNT

Account, community & help

Keep your progress safe and know where to turn.

Profile and settings

Settings is where you manage available account preferences, including your timezone, language and knight appearance options. Choosing a timezone changes how event times are presented, not the event's actual worldwide start time. Your profile and Knight & Inventory pages show your current progression and equipment. If you change an appearance setting, reload the relevant view if an older portrait remains on screen.

Keep access to your registered email, use a unique password, and do not share login or reset links. Account recovery begins from the sign-in page's reset flow; support will never need your password.

Chat, Discord and moderation

Site chat and the linked Discord are for game discussion and guild coordination. No links are allowed in site chat. Moderate language is acceptable, but extreme vulgarity, harassment, slurs, scams and spam are not. Moderators have a green MOD identity in chat; administrators have a red ADMIN identity. Premium appearance does not override those staff identities.

Use the report/support options or contact support@lightningquest.net for issues. Do not post passwords, payout credentials, private messages or other sensitive account details in public chat.

Fair play and reward eligibility

Rewards depend on valid, recorded activity. Automated claiming, multi-account abuse, manipulated referrals or traffic, provider-flow bypasses and other fraudulent behavior can lead to withheld rewards or account restrictions. Review may also delay withdrawals or event rewards while activity is checked. Normal players should not need to clear browser data or repeat a paid action to make a reward count.

For full legal rules, read the Terms and Privacy Policy. This wiki explains the game; it does not replace those documents or an individual provider's offer terms.

When something will not load or credit

  1. Wait for the current action to finish; repeated clicks can make it harder to tell whether the first request succeeded.
  2. Refresh the affected page once and check the current balance, inventory, event phase or Earnings History.
  3. For partner offers or shortlinks, keep the provider name, offer ID if shown, completion time and any confirmation screen.
  4. For game rewards, keep your username, the mode, approximate time and the item or reward you expected.
  5. Contact support@lightningquest.net with those details. Never send your password, reset link or private wallet key.

Event phase transitions and leaderboard refresh intervals can briefly make a page look out of date. A permanently stuck loader or missing balance is not expected and should be reported.
