What the Guild Raid Event is

The Guild Raid Event is a weekend guild mode in Lightning Quest. Instead of every guild fighting one shared Rift Guardian, each guild manages a five-slot raid board. Guild leaders and members with the right permissions scout bosses into those slots, then the guild spends event energy to defeat them.

The raid is built around two kinds of progress: personal damage and guild points. Your attacks help your own milestone and player leaderboard progress, while your guild also earns points from damage and from defeating scouted bosses.

Raid slots and scouting bosses

The raid board has five slots. Empty slots can be filled by scouting a boss level. Lower-level bosses are easier and better for newer guilds, while higher-level bosses are tougher and give stronger defeated-boss bonus points.

Boss defense reduces the damage dealt to that boss. That means high-level bosses may give less personal damage per energy, but they can be better for the guild leaderboard because the defeated-boss bonus is larger.

How event energy works

Each raid attack spends guild event energy from your own account. Event energy can regenerate up to the normal regen cap, but rewards and repeatable missions can push your energy above that cap. When you are at or above the regen cap, natural regeneration pauses until you spend energy again.

The important part is that extra event energy is not wasted. If your guild completes repeatable missions, members can stack more than the regen cap and keep attacking longer during the event.

Damage milestones

Personal raid damage unlocks milestone rewards during the event. These rewards are focused on useful game progression such as scrap, XP, and Campaign Chest progress, so even players outside the top leaderboard ranks can earn something for participating.

Milestones can be claimed as soon as your personal raid damage reaches each target. That makes them the steady reward track while leaderboards and guild placement rewards wait until the event is over.

Repeatable energy missions

Guild Raid Events include repeatable missions that the whole guild can help complete. These missions include faucet claims, earning coins through offerwalls or PTC, shortlink completions, and Campaign stage clears.

Every time a repeatable mission is completed, every guild member receives event energy. This gives active guilds a way to keep the raid moving without relying only on natural regeneration.

Leaderboards and raid caches

The raid has both a player leaderboard and a guild leaderboard. Player placement is based on personal raid damage. Guild placement is based on total guild points, which include damage plus defeated-boss bonus points.

Guild placement rewards are claimed after the event ends. Qualified members receive raid caches, and higher guild placement improves the reward tier. The caches can open multiple gear pieces at once, making the event feel more special than a normal Campaign Chest.

Best early strategy

Newer guilds should focus on easier bosses first so members can qualify, claim damage milestones, and learn the event flow. Stronger guilds can scout higher-level bosses when they want more guild points and better leaderboard placement.

A healthy raid weekend usually mixes both: easier bosses for consistent personal progress and tougher bosses when the guild has enough energy and damage to chase placement rewards.
